WHO WE ARE
Graduated in Business Administration and International Trade by UPF, Iván entered the audiovisual market in 2008, distributing fiction series and films at Imagina (current Mediapro). He is co-founder of Peekaboo Animation, in charge of project financing, management and clients’ relationships. He is also Chairman of Pro-Animats, VP of Diboos and PROA, and member of the board at the federation Animation in Europe.
Javier started in 1997 as freelance artist and has held several positions in international productions, from writing and editing to art design, storyboarding, and now directing. As co-founder of Peekaboo Animation, he is currently the creative soul of the team, showrunner and head of content for all the studio’s projects, supervising the development stages and directing some of them.

CREATION OF ORIGINAL ANIMATION WORKS
Peekaboo Animation was born as a 2D boutique studio with the aim of delivering fresh quality content, targeting mainly kids and youth, mixing entertainment and fun with strong social values. We create, develop and produce our own ideas, and give a voice to young creators who share our same vision and passion for animation. We believe in compelling stories and attractive visual designs that provide positive views of the world. We like to say we help kids enjoy their childhood through our projects!
With a strong focus on animated TV series, we also deal with theatrical feature films and shorts, as well as digital content. Additionally, we always work in coproduction with international partners as we believe in collaboration. Our commitment to quality turns into universal stories which captivate and inspire audiences worldwide. Thanks to this, our projects have been seen in more than 140 countries.
EXECUTIVE PRODUCTION
At Peekaboo Animation, all ideas are more than welcome! If you have a great project but need help to enter the market, we can assist you. We have worked as executive producers for Spanish and European studios, seeking co-production partners, securing financing, or offering consultancy on building your animation pipeline. At Peekaboo Animation we specialize in storytelling and captivating visual approaches, but our range of services cover all aspects of production, from concept development to animation or postproduction tasks. Our way of working is flexible and adaptable to the needs of each project, and our philosophy is based on creating a trustful relationship with our partners and clients. We work not only for the animation community, but also for the publishing industry. We have illustrated almost 200 children’s books from different collections such as My Little Heroes or Mythology for Kids. We combine creativity and technical expertise to deliver illustrations that enhance and enrich narratives.
